Best Western Ocean Sands Beach Resort

I liked the friendly staff. I liked they gave you cold bottled waters when arriving. It was clean. We always got close parking spots. It wasn't crowded. House keeping came by every day to pick up trash and give towels etc. There were multiple pools to swim. Lazy river, indoor and outdoor.

Wonderful view of ocean. I enjoyed being on the end of the hall. Bed was very comfortable and the room met all of my needs. Also, the cleaning staff was wonderful about providing fresh towels each day.

As a point of reference, I am accustomed to staying at Marriott properties. The room was spacious and very clean, not easy for a hotel on the beach. The bed was almost Marriott quality and comfort. Another layer of plush padding would make it perfect. The pool areas and tiki bar were super clean and excellent! The included hot breakfast was outstanding, and better than any Marriott I've stayed at that included hot breakfast. Loved the private balcony too! We will stay here again in a heartbeat. I even joined the BW rewards program.

The staff was amazing! Everyone was friendly above and beyond! First off the water pressure OMG now this can make or break a vacation.. it was AMAZING!!!! Tons of shells on this part of the beach, and very laid back. Not to far from the excitement down south Myrtle and plenty to do close by.

The staff was excellent: they were willing to go for an extra mile and provide additional accommodations to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast was great - by far the best food we had in MB. If you look for an uncomplicated and reasonably priced place for an ocean retreat, this is an ideal option. Would definitely come back.
